Description:

Crafted in the exceptionally popular Greek Revival style in 1836, the Clarke House Museum stands as the oldest surviving residence in the city. Immaculately restored, the rooms are filled with antique Empire-style furnishings, reproduced wallpaper styles and decorative woodwork. Relocated a few miles north to its current site in the Near South Side's Prairie Avenue District, the home is near the Glessner House Museum and southwest of the Museum Campus.

Hours of Operation:

Tours run Wed. - Sun. at noon, 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Admission Details:

Adults $10; Seniors and Students $9; Children (5-12) $5; Children under 5 are free.
