I'm Mexican and from Texas and used to plentiful Mexican restaurants. It's taken me some time and running around town but I finally found a place that has authentic food that is packed with tons of flavor. I can't recommend just one item since everything I have tried has been authentic, flavorful, and priced well for the portion you get. Don't miss the guacamole! The only improvement is needed on the tortillas.

A great place for more modern, upscale mexican food. The margaritas are good, but expensive.

Adobo Grill serves upscale Mexican food. Everything I'd had has been very tasty and the prices are reasonable. Large portion entrees average in the $15-18 range. They make fresh guacamole and shake margaritas right at your table, which is nice personal touch. They also have an extensive list of upscale tequilas.

This restaurant is considered to be an upscale, authentic Mexican joint. They call it Pan-Latin and you hardly see these types of selections on other menus in the Chicagoland area. They have very rare Tequila secletions, which I like. Also try to order one with the worm in it. The food is pretty good. You may see octopus as an appetizer.

If you are into Latin American food, then you will LOVE Adobo Grill. Although a little pricey (you should be prepared to spend upwards of 30 dollars), the food is definitely worth it. Amazing appetizers, and they make guacamole right at your table in front of you.Great place to take a date, trust me, she will be impressed!
