Our family owned-and-operated restaurant has been serving delicious food in the downtown Chicago Loop since 1969. When I am downtown in the loop, this is the restaurant I stop at. Very good all around.

This place has amazing pizza, among many other delicious menu items. They also have a bar, and a bunch of TVs that are constantly playing major baseball or football or whatever games. Pizza-wise, you can opt for deep dish or thin crust, with lots of toppings to choose from, personal or family sized. The waitstaff is very friendly and the prices are pretty cheap. Exchequer is also a great place to go for accommodating a large group of people.

The Exchequer has a smoky bar area with sports memorabilia in front, and a bustling restaurant area behind that. The serving portions are very large, like the slab of ribs or the Elaine-like "big salad". The turkey burger is tasty with grilled onions, and my meal went down well with a Guinness from its well-stocked bar.
